we divide our store up into different categories..
the foo foo
the prim
the good oak
the white shabby/cottage elegant
the rough room
etc etc....
each section has a chance to shine...you just couldnt put a group of old crocks and a copper boiler and a crazy quilt next to all this pretty white.........
if someone loves prim they dont even venture into the foo foo room... if they love antiques they know where to go when they come to the store....
this picture shows an old buffet rehabbed and painted with our white combination......usually about 220$ for a small one like that..
..the mirror is from a fabulous victorian dresser...long separated....also painted white... about 200$
this separation of categories makes every section more dramatic imho...and shows its parts in its natural habitat.....
